A video recorded entirely on a Nokia N8 (As proof, a behind the scenes video will be shown below) featuring my friend from college, Yassir. Special thanks to my friend Kong Dickson and Faris Zainal for helping me out with the project.
What inspired me to make this project happen is contributed by a few factors. The first is to share with people the truth inside the life of an international student and his experiences, as local people always have a false conception of our friend. I also made this video to send a message to people that we should start understanding others before judging them with negativity
The second would be owning a DSLR (Nikon D5100). It got me thinking to make short stories like those on YouTube but thinking back a DSLR is so commonly used so I went for Nokia N8 as my main tool. I have seen those N8 videos where most of them are stop motion and short stories for entertainment which lacks a true story.
So, I came up with an idea to make a project with my friends called Project True Story (The video is the first episode of the series). We also accept entries (e-mail us) from other people as a story should be shared and inspire. Here is the making of or behind the scenes video. :)
We did this project with only a total of 4 people (including me) without the support of others and our own college (they didn't like the idea). We are starting another True Story Project next week and hopefully is up by next month. Good news is our video and blog is featured at WOMworld/Nokia heres the link to it.
